First post of 2014~ Am I too late to do a review for 2013??? :/

It's 01-01-2014 today and I'm not going anywhere since I didn't get to rest well for the last weekend and I just got home from new year celebration at 3 a.m. !!! I said I'm gonna sleep till my biological clock wake me up naturally~

Since I'm not a regular blogger and I don't have the interest of writing diary, taking photos is the only way for me to mark down memorable moments or even record ordinary daily doings like wat I had for my breakkie, lunch, dinner or ootd and stuff like tat~ I don't know why but I just like browsing thru photo albums, be it softcopies or hardcopies, to refresh my memory or maybe I'm just nostalgia?~ 

Here you go the shots taken in 2013~ Most of the pics were taken from my Ip 4s (I think  it's 99% of them) They made up part of the storyline in my life, so they meant a lot to me~ =) 

*I was having a hard time selecting the photos coz I had a long list of pics to post. So if I did, it could take several blog posts to finish the review~ so, I've tried my best to cut down the pics~

Jan 2013

I used to think this office wear looks good on me but that was back then~ I'm not gonna wear these no more =P

This was the time we went to JB coz we had to attend his friend's wedding on the next day~ Got my hair trimmed at a saloon recommended by Jeffrey and Joy~ But I 4got the name of the saloon already~  >.<

Then lunch at a popular korean restaurant in JB~ 4gotten the name oso~ actually I never bother to look for the name oso la~

The Jb gang brought us to this famous chocolate ice kacang place~ I remember we had rojak oso~

This bakery is well known for their banana cake~ My ex Singaporean colleague used to ask us (the m'sian) buy her the banana cake~ and they close pretty early oso~ so if u wanna buy, better be early~ Wanna know the location just google I guess it's not difficult to find out~

Broke into Jeff's room and curi took one pic of the guitar~ lol

My bad experience of coloring my hair at a saloon located opposite my house in Sg~ CNY was just around the corner and all saloons near to my neighborhood had been fully booked~ Look! How uneven the color it was~ I went back the next day and get my roots done~

CNY eve at Granny's house for prayers~ I like doing tis (rubbing his chin)~ then He will make funny sound like how a cat would purr when u constantly rubbing the cat~ cuteeee

1st day of CNY look~ The make up was too heavy on me with false lashes~ phailed

2nd day of CNY~ The Thai ah gua look~ Don't ask me why~ I just feel so~

CNY day 4~ Hugging DD b4 attending our gathering~ such a baby~

At Bong and Joie's wedding~ Now they got a very cute and big eyes baby gal~

1st experience at Escape Penang with the bunch of friendssssss

1st time having one of the best and and long waited ramen at Ippudo Mandarin Gallery, Sg~ I don't like it tho~ I'm weird~ I prefer localised ramen like Ajisen~ Hahaha

Those are not my portion of serving~ This was my Yarling showing me as to what extent his love is to carbs, I mean bread~ and yet, asking why is he gaining weight when he didn't eat much for most of the time~ Bcoz u're eating the wrong food my love~ Kiyop~

After happy holiday, time to get serious~ 1st time entering the operation theater~ was nervous~ Got to postpone the date joining new company since I need to rest~

Got back to Sg with Yarling to witness the proposal~

No kidding~ 1st time having Sg style Bak Kut Teh coz nvr got the chance to eat b4 till then~ The pepper soup based one~ So many 1st time experience in 2013 lol~ 

I tak suka~ Still prefer M'sia one~

I think this was how I look on the 1st day of work in new co.~ Pardon my tired face~ Nvr liked to make up to work, so.... hehe unprofessional

The month about GE 13~ 

Got to eat Laduree macarons!!! woohooo~ U cant get it anywhere in Asia except HK and SG only~ showing off haha

The one and only pic in May lol...There's nothing special bout this~ It's simply a Hakka Thunder Tea rice for my lunch in one odd working day~ Now tat Lau Pa Sat is closed for renovation and I can't get to eat this for lunch anytime soon~

June 13

Signed up for my 1st ever gym membership~

And cheated for one measuring tape from fitness first during the enquiry lol

Experienced how sore one's muscle can be when u stopped fitness regime for so long and get resumed again~ pain till muz get some form of protein to repair my tissue~ I don take protein shake so soy milk it is!

Learnt to detox~

 The haze issue in Sg caused by Sumatra's forests burning~ but this time was the worst and hit hazardous level marking highest PSI in record~

Ran out of N95 masks in all drug stores in Sg and even JB

Attending Jl's sis wedding~ Got the chance to meet my yarling again~ yeepee

Learnt to play darts for the 1st time~ It was fun!!!

Just to show how much I need this~ yes my room's ventilation is tat bad n so moist

Discovered this new french bakery near my office area and since then I got addicted to their bread esp this white choc bun~ but I've tried to stop buying since they have been increasing the price and cutting down the size of bread which I find it's so unreasonable~

Another unplanned random trip to KL to meet my yarling and learnt to take this express train from KL sentral to KLCC~ not bad

Joined this event with Hooi Yee only to know tat it's Amway's Artistry make up event~ It was fun thou

Ok I gotta stop now~ Tried my best to finish this with full year review but it seems to be a bit difficult~ It's 1 a.m. now I better get to bed to avoid Thursday blue tmr~

Those days memories...

Just watched the video of JT's performance during the MTV VMA~ Indeed, it brought back alot of those days memories~ I remember I used to be so crazy about N'sync and even like pasting their posters in my room~ and out of the 5 members, I like JT the most~ I can still remember that my sis used to tease me bout his hair saying something like "yiiii, u see he got maggie mee hair...." trying to make me hate him I guess but somehow, I think tat's wat making him look even cuter and adorable~ even baby with curly hair looks cuter isn't it? and yea, he's getting hotter and hotter as he grows up~ and still die seeing him...hehe

Short Break at Homie

Ann Yeung!!! I noticed that my last post was in Dec 12~ After 4 5 mths, here's some updates!! Geeee.....

I've resigned when I return to office after the CNY holidays~ Serving 1 mth notice and hence, 19/3's my last day in my 1st Company in Sg~ No need to tell why I choose to resign, But i'm gonna miss all my colleagues very much!!

Yes!!! Going home the next day!!!! Superb excited!!! Tat's gonna be my another "short" break after the CNY holidays~ A 10 days short break in my homeland~!!!

Touched down at about 3pm and as usual, Yarling's the one who'll pick me up and he brought me to Azuma for lunch~ We wanted to go for Korean food at first but since I need to do some shopping  we might as well eat at QB and shop there lou!!! When we walked in, the restaurant was empty~ So I teased Gummy, how sweet of him that he even "bao" the whole restaurant for me~ Not really empty la~ Got one couple there eating oso lo~ Lose ady~

Here it is!!! My pinkish luggage!!! I don really like very feminine stuff to be honest. What I mean is the color la~ Pink color~ Somehow, most people's first impression on me is that, I'm kinda soft and nui bo~ Tired of all that~ I wanna get rid of  that impression~ Do I really look so? I know rite, I look arrogant to some other people who don know me also~ but, why do I still opt for this color btw? Coz I think at least this not-so-common color gonna make me much more easier to identify my luggage at the airport rite? FYI, both my sis have the same luggage also but they got the black ones so I don wanna get the same color with them~ =P

Then, waiting for my buddies at Heaven Gate for dinner~ waited so long ler!!! XD

The next day was my 1st nothing-to-do-at-home day~ I played with DD~ He's too hyper active ady, most of the time la~ Sometimes, he can be very emo~ Cannot tahan him~ Look at his innocent face, how can you not play with him????

And this fella is playing violent one you know~ Look at all these marks~ Bearing in mind that he's still a baby just passed one year you know~ It was painful!!!! Not me being exaggerated but, for those that who know me really really well, you will know how I react even with just one touch on my skin~ =P

And then skip the boring day story at home to the following day~ Woke up at 6+ in the a.m.~ Wanted to have Dim Sum but they just started to prepare the food so we guess there wont be much choices if we were to eat-in~ Somemore it was a Friday~ So, the only place that we could think of for breakkie was.....McDonald's~ =.=" Y swt face? Coz I don really eat McD la~ Somemore I tot We could have better breakkie since we woke up early in the great morning~ Now I know not all early birds are able to get any worms la~

and I havent told you why did I wake up so early rite? Coz.....WE ARE GOING TO THE LIPE ISLAND!!!! WOOHOOO~ Who are the we? Just the Gummy and myself~ and why just the 2 of us? Coz all my fellow brothers and sisters don wanna join with meeeee~ So shiat one nvr give face~ =P So we don care and just go ourselves!! Me is very persistent one!! haha

Gummy drove there and stopped at somewhere near the border which I don know exactly where was it~ Doing the car insurance thingy bla bla blaaa....which I dint seem to care~ So long as you bring me go gai gai~ hehe..Bought a SIM pack and see below pic for the activation instruction~ =)

WTH??!! Was trying to figure out how to activate the phone calls and data plan but, phailed~ *Go bang the wall plss* It's all written in thai and even the Ms. operator speaks Thai~ which we don understand la~ BTW, why the hell are we so dying for data? No no no~ Not that I wanted it to update my FB la, instagram la BUT!!! It's bcuz we cant use GPS in Thailand and we had to use our google map to lead us to the Pak Bara Pier~ Where we will have to take a 2 hrs boat (approximately) to the pretty little Lipe Islandddd~ No GPS, no google map, we go based on our feeeeling~ haha =P No la, we still look at the map but without the voice-guided navigation~

Here in the boat~ Big boat~ but so stuffy~ Look at his arm~ No worries~ Just got burnt by the Sun in Lipe~ This fella went Lipe just the week before He went with me~ Crazy.... 2 weekend in a row~ 

Got so hungry ady~ Here's the very first meal in the Island~ Is damn naiseeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!! Now I'm hungry~ =(

Then checked in our hotel at Anda Resort, here's the pic from his cam~ Lovely~

Then we took a small nap and went for our dinner at the walking street~ Not much pics as most of them are in the cam which I don have in possession right now~ Limited edition photo only~ =P

Next Day, the snorkeling day~ We rented a sampan~ It's actually a long-tailed boat this is how they call it~ and begin our underwater world discovery tour~

We on the Sampan~ I still think the name sampan suits it best la~ Nah, pls don laugh at me wearing a life jacket har~ I scare die and I don swim~ Even the life jacket itself doesnt make me feel comfortable enough for snorkeling ~ Gummy almost gone drowning coz I kept pushing him down once I got in the water~ Sorry har, I panic~ I just feel more comfortable grabbing something ~ hehe

We oso stopped at black stone island (aka Ko Hin Ngam means Pulau Cantik)~ A very cool island filled with black stone only~ I don have the pics with me so I googled Ko Hin Ngam and appended below the pic for your reading pleasure.

The myth is that you stack the stones, at minimum of 7-8 stones then make a wish and your dream will come true~

That's all for our tiring day 2 at Lipe Island~ We had our dinner at walking street~ and ended our day~

Day 3 was simply a day for us to relax~ Strange thing was that we didn't go for any massage during our 4D3N trip there~ Bcoz massage doesnt seem to be a trend here or what? We passed by so many massage parlors but none of them seemed to fill with people~ and I would say most are even empty~ I don know but the feeling was just not right~ Like something wrong somewhere ~ So we didnt even dare to try~

So no particular plan, just enjoy the relaxing sea breeze after our breakkie at the hotel....and sunbathing~ =.=" Cheat you one! I wont tan myself okay? I cannot bear the hot sun~ Lotsa ang mo just laid on the bed topless and get themselves tanned like, from early morning till evening??!! You're so not gonna believe this~ Now you know how much they love the sun, unbeatable level~ 

So basically I just laid on the bed and watch topless ang mo at the beach la~

Here you go! Ang Mo Zai with spandex only~ I censored the topless girl doing sunbathing part and keep it for myself only~ U wanna see, u go urself okay? =P 

What we Asian do was, pretend to sunbath and selca~ haha~ Somemore purposely look for the bed that hidden under tree~ so we wont get burnt~ hahaha

The weather was really hot that I got super thirsty and would die for chilling cold drinks~ then we recalled that we got chips and iced mineral water in our room (it was already our 2nd last day there so we've used up most of our budget~ gonna save money, so... just mineral water, =D) so now, we're like doing fake sunbathing, selca and even picnic?? haha

and then I found tis red little flower and became my selca props~ matching his tee~

Then went out for our lunch~ most of the restaurants there selling western coz of ang mo based island~ I wanted to order lemon soda but the waitress took the wrong order and gave me soda water~ It taste like water with gas and it's weird??!!! So I drank it with Sprite, the real lemon soda~ hehe~ I was hoping for a very chilled drinks but they told me no more ice, wth???? I can die in this hot weather~!!!

See! no cheat you one~ no water drops outside the can at all~!

For dinner, we had this Thai pancake as our starter??? XD then Mexican food for dinner~ No pics for Mexican food oso~ sowieee

Last day, just before I got in the golf car bringing us to the pattaya beach, one last shot on the island~ I wanted to snap the sea and me coz I dint get to snap any earlier~ Gummy kept promising me that he'll help me to take pic but NEVER!!! I blame u now! =P

On the boat~ Now this speed boat is different from the one we took from main land to Lipe, the big one remember? This speed boat is the open-air one and I think it's much more comfortable and faster~

Before driving back, we dropped by at Tesco Lotus to grab some cheap goodies and had our lunch there~ I bought like 6 shampoos and 6 conditioners and some other stuff like loads of pads, instant noodles etc coz its far more cheaper here~!

and so when I got home, DD has got a new style~ getting even older~ =.="

After my happy holiday, it's time to do something serious~

I iz nervous~

How nice that I got a super VIP room~ Well, not really~ It was a ward for 6 somehow no other patients joining me that day so I occupied the entire room la!!! hehe~ It was just a small surgery~ You know... liposuction =P haha~ The theory is the same, remove fat only ma~ 

I was so worried (serious, this was my very 1st operation, no experience XD) when I was told that I'm gonna do a full anesthesia, I was so so worried that I kept asking my mom how does it feel like?? What if I cant be conscious anymore?? Or I got coma?? Paralyzed?? Then I was advised by the anesthetist that it is totally not risky (even though I dont trust you but I have to make myself believe it to comfort myself) and my job is to fall asleep and wake up! I wont be having any feeling of pain in between~ That painful feeling comes only after I woke up~ =.="

So when I was laying on the operation bed, looking at those horrible spotlight on the ceiling, my whole body was still shaking till I was given a mask for oxygen supply and the anesthetist told me that he's gonna do an injection on me NOW~ that's the time I stopped having the feeling of fear and floating in my dreamland~ Serious! People just laugh at me when I told them that I dreamt when I was unconscious~ =(

Anyway, everything went thru very successfully and I woke up fully naked covered under the blanket~ Luckily no one else was in the ward except my mom~ She waited for me in the ward during the surgery and left for her work not long later~ Gummy came and takeover her duty~ hehe~ to look after me~ No la, to bring me home~ =P

1st thing to do is selca liao~ Hello~ =D

Bcoz I still got to go back for a few follow ups, I had no choice but to postpone my flight back to Sg for another 2 weeks~ I iz happy la actually~ longer holiday now from 10 days to more than 3 weeks~ haha

So during my "yang sheng" period, I got to eat mommy's homecook food everyday! My favorite pan fried pork in dark sauce and herbal soup~ I always think these two dishes are the perfect combo!!! 

I got to have dessert at Tong Pak Fu with my mommy after her work~

Playing with DD, and clearing his poops & pees~ =.="

Went to Cheng Beng and ate my favourite chap chai!!!

Hang out with family on Sunday and visited my sis during her working hr~ she's good in sneaking out~ kaka

Did my very first facial treatment at the saloon~ I know my dark circle is horrible but dont you feel that my skin is glowing??? hahaha

So after spending my 3-4 weeks break at home, it's time to go back and begin my new career~ new stage! Hope everything's gonna work out really well~ *finger cross*
